Wedding Stylist: Mave Weddings
It was only right that our next blog in this series had to be about this lady!
This is the wonderful Suzy she is the other half of the LOVE + MAVE team who have been without a doubt two of the most amazing people I have met on my business journey. When she is not teaming up with Fran helping small businesses she can be found adding the finishing touches to weddings across the UK.
She is a self professed perfectionist and the best wedding gift you could possibly give yourself!!
Now I am not married so my experience working with Suzy is slightly different however I think the best way to possibly communicate how much I appreciate her is this.
We have all had those moments in life when you wish you could clone yourself because the old saying “if you want something done right, do it yourself” is consistently proven true. I have been on countless photo shoots and I know I am a perfectionist. I have made friends with hotel groundsmen because I have stolen rakes and hedge trimmers. I have even been known to get fishing nets and remove dead leaves from ponds. Anything to make sure I get the perfect images. Last year on my first ever photo shoot with my own collection I was up all night in a panic because there was no way I would be able to be in all the places I needed to be the next day! Literal cold sweats I can only imagine this is exactly how brides feel before the big day.
Enter Suzy!!!
It was like she was inside my mind and she knew what I needed doing before I did. From setting up the perfect ‘flay lays’ for behind the scenes shots. To carrying models trains and positioning everything perfectly. It was that moment when you feel a weight being lifted off your shoulders and she was the one taking it off me! I can only imagine this is exactly what she does for her brides. She listened to everything I needed and delivered that and so so much more!
